White Wall Art ‘Reef’ by Amanda Deadman
Detailed white wall art recreation of the utter joy and beauty of coral reefs. The white enables us to see all the intricacies within the reef and reminds us that coral is bleaching around the world and this spectacular beauty could soon be lost unless humans change their ways.
The piece sits proud at 5cm, enabling it to stand out in its’ Perspex box.
The framed, white-glazed box allows light to mingle and dance within the artwork and produce a myriad of forms and shadows throughout the day.
Artist’s Statement
“Reef” is an exquisite circular artwork that celebrates the mesmerizing forms of coral reefs.
This striking white dimensional relief is a visual symphony of coral, plant, and plankton-inspired shapes that invite you to explore their intricate details up close.
Each element is meticulously crafted and individually mounted on the backing board, extending up to 5cm to create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow.
As light dances across the sculpture, it casts enchanting shadows that transform the piece throughout the day, offering a fresh perspective with every glance.
