Art Glass Egg ‘The Most Charming Creatures’ by Roberta Mason
Communities of ocean creatures are the inspirational idea behind this art glass egg – named ‘the most charming creatures’. Â A visual masterpiece, this art glass egg will add tranquillity to your home.
‘Ohana’ is a delightful Hawaiian term for family, for being bound together in loving cooperation; to be responsible for and to remember one another. It is the perfect sentiment for this work – ‘The Most Charming Creatures’. The lives of these marine creatures, that generate most of the oxygen that we breathe, inspires Roberta. We all must remember them and take better care of their home, our oceans!
The glass creatures are made using murrini and are blown into different shapes. Each one is unique but similar – like family. They stand on bases of fossilised limestone – on the shoulders of their ancestors.
Each art glass egg comes with a light stand (battery operated with remote control). The light projects through the art glass egg and into the room. This makes the piece come ‘alive’ and adds drama to your decor.
NB This art glass egg comes with a light and the stone base (battery operated with remote control). The sphere ‘creature’ is approx. 15 cm high and 15 cm depth. Total height (inc stone base) = 21cm
