Coastal Wall Art ‘Seaside Dreams’ by Amanda Deadman Art
Amanda spent many blissful days during her childhood beachcombing for shells, pebbles and driftwood for her collections. Those early experiences have inspired her coastal wall art. ‘Seaside Dreams’ is a part of her ‘Shoreline’ collection and features beautifully handcrafted alabaster seashells. A line of pebbles in shades of aquatic colours adds a pop of vibrant colour and interest to this delightful piece.
Capturing the simplicity of those childhood times and the soul-soothing beauty of the seaside. Gaze at this coastal wall art by Amanda Deadman and allow your mind to drift off, dreaming of the seaside.
Materials: Watercolours and metallic watercolours, moulded watercolour paper, and polymer clay in a deep box frame glazed with Perspex. Each element is moulded with watercolour paper. Each shell and stone is hand moulded and coloured with watercolour, then mounted on a tiny foam-board plinth to form the whole piece.
N.B. The images shown are examples of the series. Amanda makes each individual piece by hand, therefore every one is unique and will vary slightly from the one shown. The paper sculpture artwork is signed on the side.

Amanda’s art journey began with a degree in 3D design and photography from West Surrey College of Art and Design. She works with a variety of media. From college, she produced kiln-formed glass for sale exclusively through Aaronson galleries in Piccadilly London, and Edinburgh, Scotland. She has also painted all her life, producing photo-realistic work, in watercolour and acrylic on canvas. Her sculptural artwork exists in galleries and collections across the globe.
More recently, Amanda has returned to her 3D roots and now specialises in creating beautiful, intricate and detailed cut watercolour and paper artworks. She loves using watercolour, gold leaf and gold ink, and creating interesting colour graduations.
She has also branched out into creating completely white artworks and also her new ‘Beachcomber’ series such as this seashell wall art.
Amanda Deadman’s 3D fish wall art is handmade in her tranquil home studio in North Oxfordshire, UK. The natural world, such as flowers, insects, birds, and fish inspires her artworks. She is also very much a book and film fan, and her favourite films and books, such as ‘The Italian Job’ and ‘Jonathan Livingstone Seagull’ also feature in her work.
